ACTIVITIES

Once a month, each of the groups –survivors and 2Gs– meet to discuss common issues of interest or to share a lecture or film on a particular theme. The warm environment of our meetings allows us to share experiences and feelings common to all, followed by commentaries and rich reflection. In addition to our monthly meetings, we offer workshops and educational activities for schools and other institutions that are both inspiring and enlightening. We have also organized events for the public, including: - showing the film “And We Were Children”, (2001) directed by Bernardo Kononovich

- The International Conference, “Facing the Future” (the first International Meeting of Shoah Survivors, Descendants, and Relatives for Spanish and Portuguese speakers, held in Buenos Aires in November 2004)

- A ceremony held with the National Migrations Office of Argentina in September 2005 to formally correct the identity information noted in the registry for those immigrants who were forced to state that they were Catholic in order to be able to enter Argentina. Other link.

- Book Presentation: "Legacy of the Saviors" Written originally in Spanish and translated so far into 23 languages.
The text, an ethical paradigm, is delivered freely to schools and organizations.
